Aldis Birkans, President

Mr. Birkans has served as the Company’s President since September 2024. Mr. Birkans served as the Company’s Chief Financial Officer from August 2018 to September 2024 and has served as the Company’s Treasurer from 2011 through February 2021. He has also served as a member of NBH Bank’s board of directors since August 2018. As of January 2021, Mr. Birkans is a board member of the USDF Consortium, of which NBHC is a founding member.

Prior to joining the Company in 2011, Mr. Birkans was a Vice President, Assistant Treasurer of M&I Bank for five years, where he was responsible for capital management, investments, corporate liquidity and risk management related to the bank’s financial activities. In addition, Mr. Birkans worked at Citigroup as a Senior Vice President, Corporate and Investment Bank Treasury.

Mr. Birkans holds a Master of Business Administration from Southern Methodist University, where he also received his Bachelor’s degree in economics and finance.
